Details of War Graves for WW1 Soldiers from Etwall This page depicts the final resting places of the men of Etwall and surrounding areas who died during the Great War and are named on the village war memorial. The project was prompted and encouraged by Marianne Pritchard-Jones who had carried out such strenuous and dedicated research into the lives of the men and their part in village life before they made the ultimate sacrifice. Sadly, Marianne is no longer with us but her enthusiasm in bringing to life the early years of ‘her boys’ has ensured that their memory will live on. This record is intended to complement the book already published by Marianne and I would like to dedicate this to her memory. Should anyone wish to visit any of the cemeteries there are GPS co-ordinates included in the index. If any further information is required, then please contact me on 01283 732703.
